Life and Death

Life and Death: We all experience the one or the other at one pointin our lives. Well, at least the death part. It seems that the older you get, the more your mind is occupied with figuring out how to make it safely to the other side.

But existential question are not only for the ageing. Death is part of our everyday lives, although we dread to think of it as such. However, many things die - friendships, pets and the flowers in the vase on our kitchen table, the last remnants of an evening full of gay chatter and delightful conversation. A moment that has irretrievably passed or, in a manner of speaking, died. Death surrounds us all the time (and this is not a new thought by any means) and it often goes largely unnoticed.

Under this evening's headline, the authors have five to ten minutes to explore the yawning abyss of human existence as well as the tiny rifts in our daily routines. Here, writing truly becomes a matter of "Life and Death".
